The traditional techniques may involve using large incisions to access the spine during treatment. In certain cases, minimally invasive surgery (MIS) can be used as an alternative.
Advanced techniques and technology are used to minimize the access the spine. This can result in a decrease in pain, recovery, complications, and hospitalization. In many cases, patients go home the same day of the operation.
